Description of our trips

We spent a total of 2 weeks in the Dordogne and will be coming back. This region abounds with prehistoric caves. We visited le Fond de Gaume, and le Gouffre de Proumeysac in July 2010. We also visited le Gouffre de Padirac in the Lot.
In July 2011 we came back and visited Rouffignac, Cougnac in the Dordogne region and Pech Merle and Lacave in the Lot.

The towns we visited were Brantome, Beynac, Sarlat, La Roque Gageac, Domme, Limeuil, St Leon sur Vezere. We stayed in Carsac-Aillac in a camping. In the Lot and Quercy we went to Rocamadour, Cahors, and Puy L'Eveque.

We visited the markets in Sarlat, St Cyprien and Carsac.

While on the road to our camping in Carsac-Aillac, one of the cars right in front of us was towing another car attached by a ... cord.
